Restaurants offering curbside pickup in Charlotte

Restaurants can feed you where you are


As diners stay hunkered down in their homes, restaurants are finding ways to stem the losses. One popular option has become curbside pickup, which lets customers have a restaurant-quality meal without stepping into the dining room. Here is a running list of where you can get dinner delivered to your car window. Did we miss your restaurant? E-mail us and let us know what you’re doing. —Kristen Wile

300 East
Call and place an order, then call the restaurant when you arrive to have it brought out to your car.

Alino Pizza
The Mooresville pizza restaurant, as well as sister concept The Barcelona Burger, are offering their most popular dishes for half off with take-out and curb-side pickup. Orders can be placed on the restaurants’ websites.

Alternative Chef NC
New customers for this prepared meal service, which offers curbside pickup and delivery, can get 25 percent off their first order. Or, they can choose to donate their 25 percent back to Alternative Chef NC, where the funds will be used to provide meals for children who are out of school and in need.

Amelie’s French Bakery & Café
All five Charlotte-area locations of Amelie’s are offering curb-side pickup and delivery.  Orders can be purchased by phone or online.

Aqua e Vino
Some of the city’s best pasta dishes are available for take-out from this small Strawberry Hill spot.

Bardo
A limited menu will be offered for curbside pick-up, as well as delivery within a seven-mile radius of the restaurant. Call the restaurant to order.

Barrister’s
The downtown Gastonia restaurant inside The Esquire Hotel will begin serving its entire menu for takeout, curb-side, and delivery. Order by calling the restaurant.

Bistro La Bon
As well as offering takeout, delivery is available from both locations of Bistro La Bon if you live within five miles of the restaurants.

BlackFinn American Pub
The Ballantyne location is offering curbside service and free delivery within a one-mile radius from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., including beer and wine.

Bonterra
Order a meal from Bonterra — complete with wine and beer — for curb-side pick-up, or free home delivery to addresses within 3 miles of the restaurant on orders $50 and more.

Brixx Wood Fired Pizza
Order online, through the Brixx app, or by phone and indicate you want curbside pick-up, provide the make and color of your car, then call the restaurant when you arrive to have your food brought to you. The restaurant is also offering family meals at most locations.

Cafe Fior
The Ballantyne spot is serving a limited menu Tuesday-Saturday, available for takeout or curb-side pickup.

Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen
We’ve shared before how much we enjoy the Family Table Meals from Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen. Now, you can either pick up the meals or get them delivered. If you prefer to pick up to avoid a $25 delivery fee, place your order and call when you arrive to have someone bring it out to your car.

Chop & Chisel
Order and pay online before Thursday at midnight, and have your order delivered to you on Sunday.

Common Market
The Common Market will serve meal packs for families of four, and deliver or offer curb-side pickup of anything in the store, including beer and wine, in area codes surrounding the stores. Call the store to order.

Corkbuzz
Wine will be 10 percent off when you purchase a case, and delivery within a five-block radius and takeout are 20 percent off.

Dilworth Tasting Room
In addition to selling wine, a three-course menu of soup, salad, and an entrée is available to go for $25.

Dish
This old-school Southern comfort spot is offering curb-side takeout, as well as serving some barbecue products from sister concept Sweet Lew’s BBQ.

The Dunavant
Place orders for a steak dinner by calling the restaurant, and pick it up curbside or have it delivered if you live within two miles of the restaurant. Orders over $25 come with a free roll of toilet paper.

Eddie’s Place
The classic Charlotte restaurant will serve orders made by phone curbside from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

F.S. Food Group
Order dinner online and get your meal delivered to you curbside at Mama Ricotta’s and Midwood Smokehouse. At Yafo, order and pay ahead online, then call the restaurant when you arrive to have your order brought to the car. Paco’s Tacos and the Midwood Smokehouse Birkdale and Cross Hill locations are closed.

The Fig Tree
Each day of the week, the restaurant will serve a different family-size meal for four, with additional portions available for $10. Dishes include Shepherd’s Pie on Tuesdays, crab cakes on Friday, and elk meatloaf on Saturdays. Prices range from $40 to $50. Sides and dessert are also available. Order by email to sara@charlottefigtree.com by 3 p.m. for curbside pickup the next day between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Foxcroft Wine Co.
The take-out menu options all pair well with wine, which is also available for curb-side delivery.

Global Restaurant
This Pineville restaurant is turning its back door into a drive-up window. Place your order by phone, then pull up to the back entrance and call the restaurant when you arrive to have your food brought out.

The Goodyear House
The new NoDa restaurant with chef Chris Coleman at the helm is back with its simple-yet-flavorful menu of comfort fare.

Haberdish
Order online between 4 and 8 p.m., then call the restaurant when you arrive for your food to be delivered curb-side. The restaurant is also offering cocktail kits from mixologist Colleen Hughes. Order family-size dinners at the restaurant group’s new pop-up “Bring the Queen,” operating our of Crepe Cellar with pick-up in the restaurant’s window.

Harper’s Restaurant Group
Harper’s, Mimosa Grill, Taco Molina, and Upstream are offering curbside pickup, as well as 10 percent off all takeout orders. Gift cards of $25 or more are 20 percent off. SouthPark restaurant Upstream is offering a three-course menu to go for $40.

The Indigo Road
The Charleston-based restaurant group that owns Oak Steakhouse, O-Ku, and Indaco is offering 10 percent off to-go orders across the restaurants, with curbside pickup beginning on March 17. Orders can be made by calling the restaurants.

Kindred Restaurant
Kindred and sister concept Hello, Sailor are closing their dining rooms and shifting to delivery and takeout.

Letty’s on Shamrock
This neighborhood restaurant opens for curbside delivery or takeout at 4:30 p.m.

littleSpoon
Order by phone and pick up your breakfast all day to-go or curbside.

Mere’s
Cheese, charcuterie, boards, beer and wine are available to order for curbside pickup from noon to 6 p.m., or delivery within a five-mile radius with a minimum of $75.

Moffett Restaurant Group
Order from Stagioni, NC Red, and Good Food on Montford between noon and 8 p.m. for pick-up.

Napa Restaurants
Order and pay in advance for no-contact, curbside pickup at Napa on Providence, Napa at Kingsley, and The Pump House.

New South Kitchen & Bar
Call the restaurant to order and pay for your meal, then call again when you arrive and park in one of the restaurant’s two make-shift curbside parking spots to have your food brought out to you car.

Optimist Hall
See which vendors are offering to-go service here, then pull up in front of Fonta Flora, where an Optimist Hall staffer will meet you and deliver your meal.

Orrman’s Cheese Shop
Make it a quarantine date night with a cheese plate from Orrman’s. Following 7th Street Public Market’s closure, the Orrman’s will offer delivery.

Pure Pizza
The Central Avenue location is open for take-out and curbside delivery lunch and dinner.

Chef Sam Diminich
While furloughed from his job as executive chef at Upstream, Sam Diminich is offering three-course meals for $30 that he’ll deliver to you at home. Each meal includes a salad, main dish, and dessert made using local products. Order via email. 

Santé
A daily menu will be available for curb-side pick-up 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with wines 50 percent off. Call the restaurant to order.

Soul Gastrolounge
The restaurant’s complete menu will be available to order online for takeout, curbside delivery, and delivery in the zip codes surrounding the restaurant. Sister concept KiKi Bistronome is closed.

Stomp Chomp & Roll 
Any of the restaurants under the Stomp Chomp & Roll umbrella will deliver your takeout order to your car. Orders for Pizza Peel and the Improper Pig can be placed by calling the restaurants or on ChowNow, while you can order from The Flying Biscuit Cafe by phone.

Stoke
Order from the restaurant’s limited menu and pick up from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Marriott City Center valet.

Sweet Lew’s BBQ
After serving a selection of smoked meats at sister concept Dish, Sweet Lew’s reopened again in mid-May, serving its full menu from the window.

The Waterman
Get your seafood dishes to eat home via carry-out, curbside, or delivery within one-mile of the restaurant. Delivery is $5 and goes directly to staff, or call the restaurant after ordering to request curb-side pickup.

Wentworth & Fenn
Order a variety box of pastries by Wednesday for pick-up on Saturday at Camp North End.

Your Mom’s Donuts
Get donuts and bread to go, delivered to your car. Owner Courtney Buckley is also working on getting product from local farms to deliver curbside, as well.

Zia Pia Imports + Italian Kitchen
Order lunch, dinner, take-and-bake meals, pasta kits, and deli items online, then pick it up curbside at 7th Street Public Market or get free livery with a $50 minimum.
