Mother’s Day, May 14, is fast approaching. These Charlotte restaurants, meal delivery services, and shops want to help you celebrate mom’s special day with everything from cornmeal fried oysters and smoked salmon Benedict to coconut cream pie and lemon meringue tarts, and more during the holiday weekend. This is one of the busiest service days of the year, so reservations are strongly recommended.

Angeline’s, Uptown
Mother’s Day brunch starts at 8 a.m and runs through 2 p.m. Special three-course menu includes dishes such as avocado toast, crab cake Benedict, and raspberry cannoli – plus kid’s menu. $35. Make reservations online.

The Mother’s Day brunch buffet includes oysters, shrimp cocktail, lox, prime rib, home fries, lemon meringue tarts, French macarons, and more. Dogwood: A Southern Table, South Park
Three-course prix fixe Mother’s Day brunch includes dishes such as oysters on the half shell, broccoli salad, porterhouse pork chop, and more. Seatings from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. $75 adults, $15 children. Make reservations online.

Haymaker, Uptown
Mother’s Day brunch includes jalapeño biscuit for the table, cornmeal fried oysters, deviled eggs, pan roasted crab cake, steak and eggs, and more. Three seatings: 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. $45 per person. Make reservations online.

All locations will offer its full brunch menu including shrimp and grits and huevos rancheros – plus special additions, such as steak, lobster tail, and truffle lobster mac and cheese. Special Mother’s Day brunch menu on both Saturday (11 a.m. – 2 p.m.) and Sunday (10:30 a.m.-3 p.m.), May 13-14. A three-course prix-fixe menu includes offerings, such as crab cake fritters, chicken and waffle, grilled branzino, roast salmon, strawberry shortcake, cheesecake lollipops, and more. Make a reservation online. Brunch menu available until 4 p.m. Dinner menu begins at 5 p.m. $59 per person, plus tax and gratuity. $24 for children 10 and under. Renaissance Pâtisserie, South Park
The pâtisserie will be open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Mother’s Day. The cafe menu includes salads, sandwiches, quiches, soups, stews, and more. The bakery menu includes chocolate mousse, cream puffs, croissants, cheesecake, flan, and more.

Santé, Matthews
Special Mother’s Day buffet will feature dishes such as spring asparagus soup, braised pork belly, braised beef short rib hash, crab and shrimp stuffed crepes, chocolate mousse cake, and more. 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Call 704-845-1899 for reservations.

Steak 48, South Park
The restaurant will open early on Mother’s Day and serve its full menu, which includes Australian wagyu filet, corn creme brulee, fresh seafood, and more. Noon – 10 p.m. Reservations can be made online or by calling the restaurant at 980-580-4848.

Chef Ammalu Saleh has created a special Mother’s Day catering menu – focusing on the flavors of Tanzania and East Africa, such as coconut rice pancakes, fresh-made chapati, beef & vegetable samosas, and grilled chicken kebabs. Order online.

The Mother’s Day catered brunch includes shrimp and grits, blueberry crumb cake, fresh broccoli salad, cheddar and tomato quiches, and more.
