Growing up in the kitchen of one of Charlotte’s most iconic restaurants never meant resting on reputation for executive chef and owner Ashley Boyd. That was proven again Tuesday night as Boyd told the story of her life and goals through five thoughtful, creative, and delicious courses. She discussed the motivation for each dish with a touch of emotion, a dash of humor, and a heaping helping of passion.
