    Where to get Mother’s Day brunch, dinner to-go in Charlotte

    The holiday is one of the biggest brunch days of the year

    Mother’s Day is one of the most popular brunch days of the year — and we don’t expect stay-at-home orders will change that. Get brunch to-go or pick up a special dinner from these restaurants. —Kristen Wile

    300 East
    Entrée options include salmon with dill and lemon zest or butterbean croquettes with lemon-dill yogurt, accompanied by baby lettuce salad, quinoa salad, haricots verts, and dinner rolls. Add on strawberry oat crumble with house-made vanilla ice cream or chocolate marbled cheesecake for dessert. Serves two; $50 for salmon, $46 for croquettes. Order by May 7 via e-mail.

    Aria Tuscan Grill
    Make selections from a broad menu of Italian starters, mains — such as chicken parm or braised short rib — and sides, like roasted broccoli rabe and mascarpone polenta. Each dish serves four. Add on a box of chocolates from the Secret Chocolatier for $12.50. Mains $25-$48, sides $18. Order by May 8 by phone.

    Aqua e Vino
    Select antipasti, a pasta course, and a main course of veal scaloppini, stuffed chicken breast, or fresh fish catch, with assorted Italian pastries for dessert. Order by May 9. Call to order.

    Bistro La Bon
    Select one of two menus for dinner — one with a pesto-crusted salmon entrée and sides including brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes, the other centered around filet mignon with accompaniments such as parmesan and truffle fingerling potatoes and grilled asparagus. $32-$37 per person, minimum of 2 servings. Order by May 8. 

    Bonterra
    Order a la carte to fit your Mother’s Day dinner, with options including deviled eggs and dips; sides such as mashed potatoes, creamed corn, and embered asparagus; and main courses of ham, salmon, and roasted lamb. Order by May 8. 

    Cafe Monte
    Create your own dinner menu with entrée options such as beef short rib, stuffed chicken breast, and glazed salmon ordered to fit your party size at $30 per person. Brunch for up to six includes a breakfast buffet of quiche, fruit salad, bacon, potatoes, and pastry for $110. Add a mimosa kit for $25. Order by May 7. Call to order.

    Copain
    Select brunch options a la carte, or pre-order dinner or brunch for four. Dinner options are salmon and ribeye, with sides of salad, asparagus, roasted potatoes, and farro salad; brunch includes quiche, potato cakes, parfaits, coffee cake, and asparagus. Order by May 7.

    Dish
    Get a family-size meal for four with grouper, duck confit, veggies, roasted potatoes, biscuits, and chocolate pecan pie for $65. Pre-ordering by phone is encouraged.

    The Fig Tree
    Take and bake brunch at home to give it a quick reheat. The $150 brunch serves four, and includes crab, leek, and fontina quiche, burrata salad, hash brown casserole, cinnamon buns, chocolate mousse and strawberry trifle, as well as a small bouquet of flowers. Order by May 8.

    Gallery Restaurant
    Your choice of starters, sides, and dessert come alongside your selection of a main course from baked seafood thermidor, beef Wellington, or baked cobia fillet. $95, serves two. Order by May 7 by phone.

    Global Restaurant
    A three-course menu includes your choice of garlic roasted angus strip or almond-crusted pork loin, with starters and sides and a strawberry-glazed pie for dessert. $75 for two, $140 for four, $199 for six. Order by May 8 by phone.

    The Goodyear House
    Brunch for four to six includes a frittata, Benton’s bacon, grilled asparagus salad, and parfaits. Reheating instructions mean your brunch can be served hot. $45. Order by May 8 by phone.

    Haberdish
    The main course for Haberdish’s brunch is a rubbed pork loin with lavender velouté, with sides of roasted potatoes, roasted cauliflower, and mixed greens salad with cinnamon shortcake for dessert. $49.99 for two servings. Order by May 8.

    Halcyon
    Both the brunch picnic — which includes a bouquet of flowers, mimosa kit, quiche, salad, and banana bread or bread pudding — and fried chicken, prime rib, or NC trout supper spread are available for free delivery. $65 for brunch, $75 for dinner (each serve two). Order by May 7. 

    La Belle Helene
    Uptown’s French restaurant has a classic brunch menu, as well as lunch/dinner selections of seafood, beef, and pork menus. $80 for brunch, $130-$150 for dinner, serves four. Call to order by May 8.

    Leah & Louise
    Keep it casual with a fried chicken dinner from the new restaurant from Greg and Subrina Collier. Dinner includes eight pieces of chicken, cornbread biscuits, salad, grits, bbq field peas, and smoked pecan and bourbon pie. $45, get it delivered for an additional $10.

    Rare Roots Hospitality (Dressler’s, Dogwood, Fin & Fino, The Porter’s House)
    Pick up brunch for two ($59) or four ($99) on Saturday to surprise Mom on Sunday morning. The meal includes your choice of lobster and crab quiche or crab and lobster cakes, with French toast bread pudding, garlic herb roasted potatoes, orzo salad, and corn and butter bean succotash. Order by May 7. 

    Santé
    Select from ham, glazed salmon, roasted chicken, and prime rib, with your choice of starch, vegetables, and dessert. $70 for two people, $130 for four. Order on Google docs by May 8. 

    Sea Level NC
    Brunch is $29 a serving and includes your choice of prime rib or country ham and waffles or flapjacks, as well as veggie Cobb salad, papas bravas, deviled eggs, and breakfast casserole. Order by May 7. 

    Sweet Spot Studio
    Order cookie kits themed around something Mom loves — like gardening or Harry Potter — to decorate together on Sunday, or decorate them yourself and gift them already done. Sweet Spot Studio, a baking school off Monroe Road, is giving 10 percent off orders of $50, 20 percent off $75, and 25 percent off $110 through May 7.
