Where to dine out on New Year’s Eve in Charlotte

Celebrate the end of 2020 and be home before curfew

2020 is finally coming to a close. It’s been a long and stressful year, to say the least. With the statewide curfew of 10 p.m. and alcohol sales ending at 9 p.m., you won’t be able to watch the ball drop at midnight with a glass of bubbles at your favorite restaurant like you normally would. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy an early evening meal and champagne toast at some of the city’s best restaurants, or re-create the experience in your own home. Below is our list of this year’s best New Year’s Eve dinner options.

Now fully a tasting menu experience, Bardo is continuing  that format for their New Year’s Eve celebration. End the year in extravagant style with their 21 course meal and Champagne toast on offer for $270 a person. More details about their event can be found here

The Crunkleton
Executive Chef Greg Balch is featuring a curated three course dinner with two wine pairings for $125 a person with gratuity included. Reservations can be made here and all tables are given a maximum of two hours to best accommodate all guests due to the limited seating. Their full bar and cocktail menu will also be available for purchase.

Eddie V’s

Enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu which includes a Champagne toast at $85 a person. Seatings will be at 5:30 and 7:30 to make sure there’s plenty of time to enjoy your meal and still abide by the new restrictions set by the state. Call them or visit their website to make a reservation.
