Celebrate Mother’s Day at these Charlotte-area restaurants

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, making now the perfect time to start planning how you’ll celebrate. Whether you’re gathering the family for brunch or dinner to mark the day, these Charlotte-area restaurants are offering everything from chèvre frittatas to yuzu lobster rolls.
Angeline’s, Uptown
The Italian-inspired experience includes a three-course tasting menu that includes whipped ricotta, local greens salad, shrimp and grits, breakfast pizza, fingerling potatoes, cannolis, zeppoles, and more. 8 a.m.-2 p.m. $42 for adults and $18 for children 12 and under. Make a reservation online.

Offering a special Mother’s Day two-course prix fixe brunch menu Saturday and Sunday on Mother’s Day weekend. Fahrenheit, Uptown
The family-style brunch experience features sushi, beef tenderloin, roasted chicken, roasted vegetables, loaded deviled eggs, spring pear rigatoni, assorted pastries, and more. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. $65 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under.
