Soup on Sunday returns

The 19th annual soup lineup is nothing short of top notch


This Sunday, Jan. 27, head over to the 19th annual Soup on Sunday at Central Piedmont Community College’s Philip L. Van Every Culinary Arts Center to shake off the winter blues.

With over 32 restaurants participating, expect to see choices like oxtail soup from The Fig Tree, pork belly ramen from Sukoshi, and cauliflower soup with crab and truffle from Barrington’s. Hosted by Central Piedmont Community College Culinary Arts department, Soup on Sunday supports Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region.

For $40, you can enjoy the samplings of soups, dessert, and receive a handmade bowl from a local potter. For $30, you can enjoy soups and dessert. Kids ages 7-12 are $10, and younger are free. Additional pottery will be available for purchase.
