Photos from our Plated Pop-UP with Patrick’s Gourmet

Diners were treated to a fantastic, traditional French meal

Our second Plated Pop-UP this week took diners to France, with a traditional French meal by Patrick’s Gourmet chef Patrick Garrivier, with each course paired with French wines. From a chilled corn soup with scallop tartar to compressed lamb shanks, each dish was a success.

Thank you to Coca-ColaNational Restaurant Properties, Lucky Fish, and Sun Raised Foods for helping us make this event a success! See what Patrick’s Gourmet shared with diners in the below photos. Join us for our final Plated Pop-UP of this series on Sept. 20 with Hot Box Next Level Kitchen!

As a welcome bite, guests enjoyed smoked salmon pissaladiere.

Patrick Garrivier, owner of Patrick’s Gourmet Catering, was born in Provence, France.

Edward Kuehnle (pictured with UP editor Kristen Wile) explained the wine pairings for each course. The selected wines all came from France.

The second course featured a tomato stuffed with local goat cheese and pancetta.

Guests at our Plated Pop-UP series get to experience the talent of takeout and home delivery chefs outside of a to-go box.

The main course featured Sun Raised Foods lamb shank that was braised and removed from the bone, then compressed using a chicken breast mousse as a binder.

Dessert was a crowd-pleaser: a raspberry macaron sandwich, paired with an AHA sparkling mocktail.
