Hi Tide Poke & Raw Bar abruptly closes

The poke bar and butcher shop is located on Morehead Street

Hi Tide Poke & Raw Bar abruptly closed, locking its doors and giving no notice to customers on social media. A sign on the door simply tells drivers that deliveries be brought upstairs; the restaurant’s Facebook page still indicates the restaurant is open. Hi Tide is at the intersection of McDowell and Morehead streets.

The phone lines have been disconnected, but in response to an email request, we were told the restaurant was closed indefinitely. Hi Tide was previously Meat & Fish Co., a deli and butcher shop, before that closed and rebranded Hi Tide. The restaurant was popular for its poke bowls, poke nachos, and lobster rolls. —Kristen Wile
