Here’s where to find game day takeout

As Super Bowl Sunday approaches, Charlotte is gearing up for game-day festivities. Whether you’re planning to watch the big game at home with friends or someplace else in the city, these restaurants and shops have you covered. 


Cheat’s, Plaza Midwood/ South End

Offering various “Build Your Own Cheesesteak” bars, wing platters, party platters, wings, and other items. Order online.


The Crunkleton, Elizabeth 

A ticketed celebration includes unlimited cocktails, beer, wings, sliders, and more. Feb. 9 from 6-10 p.m. $87.82. Purchase tickets online


Enzo’s Italian Market, Stallings

Offering 30-inch subs: Italian, chicken cutlet, meatball, and eggplant — plus antipasto and dessert trays. Call 704-821-0899 by end of day February 5 to order.

The family-style party pack includes fried chicken, hush puppies, mac and cheese, banana pudding, and more. Pickup on Feb. 9 until 3 p.m. Feeds 15. $225+. Place orders online by 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 9. 


Horace’s Hot Chicken, Uptown

The center city pickup spot inside of Mimosa Grill is offering 20- and 50-piece wing packages (hot and salt & pepper), as well as a 20-piece chicken tender package. Each includes cole slaw, potato salad, house pickles, ranch dressing, and blue cheese dressing. Order online.


L’Ostrica, Madison Park 

Stop by the Chef’s Market on Feb. 8 to purchase dips for the game. Choose from chicken salad dip, onion truffle dip, charred artichoke dip, and more. Beer, wine, and more are available for purchase.

Customers can pre-order packages ranging in size from intimate gatherings to large parties. Items include jumbo wings, pulled pork, pulled chicken, ribs, and sausages — as well as various dips and sauces. Order online.


Margaux’s, Pineville 

Along with its regular menu, the restaurant will offer half-off beer and pretzel boards with beer cheese to celebrate the big game. Call 704-889-0470 to make a reservation. 


Midwood Smokehouse, multiple locations

Midwood offers party packs where you can choose two meats and two sides based on your guest list. Menu items include beef brisket, chopped pork, collard greens, barbecue baked beans, and more. Feeds four to 24 guests. $50-$185. A la carte items are available. Order online


Reid’s, multiple locations 

The AFC championship package includes beef sliders, wings, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The NFC package includes pulled pork, boneless chicken bites, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. $99.95. The tailgate menu includes smoked baby back ribs, pulled pork, slider kit, cowboy caviar, and more. Place orders online by Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. Pickup on Feb. 8. 


Renaissance Pâtisserie, SouthPark

For game day, the shop’s menu will include football-shaped decorated cookies. Order online


Rosemont, Elizabeth 

The party pack includes confit and dry-rubbed chicken wings, signature sauces, buffalo chicken dip, Carolina Gold sliders, and more. $85. Pickup Feb. 9 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Order online by 10 p.m. on Feb. 6. 


Sweet Lew’s, Belmont 

Three-party packs are offered with options for brisket upgrades. All packs include pork, two sides, pickles, hushpuppies, and slaw.. $38+. Order online
