Where to celebrate Halloween in, and around, Charlotte

Enjoy drink specials, parties, and more

Halloween is in a few weeks, and there are many events for adults to enjoy in the Charlotte area. If you’re searching for ways to celebrate the holiday, here’s a list of local happenings that’ll take place on, and before, Halloween. 


Boo-tique Bazaar & Treat Trail, Plaza Midwood

On Oct. 25 from 5-9 p.m., several events will take place in the neighborhood, starting on the corner of Central and Thomas Avenues. While trick or treating at business will run from 5-6:30 pm., several establishments will offer deals for the remainder of the evening. Que Onda will have $6 margaritas and Sip City will offer samples of pumpkin and seasonal beers, and $5 seasonal draft beers. 


The Casual Pint, Rivergate

The Casual Pint will host Scaraoke, and have prizes for first through third place. Oct. 25 from 7:30-10:30 p.m. 


Discovery Place, Uptown

The museum will host a Macabre Masquerade party, presented by Science on the Rocks. Oct. 26 from 7-10 p.m. Ages 21+. $34-$64. Purchase tickets online


NoDa Company Store, NoDa

The NoDaween celebration includes the Freaky 5K Road Race, a candy crawl, and a home decorating contest. Oct. 26-Oct 31. Learn more online


The Swanee Theatre, Kannapolis 

The Halloween Bash includes a costume contest, specialty cocktails, and a DJ. Ages 21+. $5. Oct. 31 from 8 p.m.-12 a.m. Reserve a spot online


Sycamore Brewing, South End

The brewery will host SYCoween from Oct. 25th-26th There’ll be exclusive prizes, festive bites, cocktails, live music, and more. Halloween at Sycamore takes place on Oct. 31 at 6 p.m. Offerings include snacks, live music, and exclusive brews. Costumes are welcomed for both events. 


Whiskey Warehouse, Plaza Midwood

Several events will take place throughout the month, including a party on Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. with a costume contest. Each Thursday in October, guests can enjoy seasonal cocktails as part of the single barrel room masquerade. Additional offerings include holiday-themed cocktails, such as a s’mores old fashioned and a vorhees-tini.
