Q: Do you know if any of the sides being offered from restaurants are vegetarian? 
Kristen: It can be unexpectedly tough to find Southern sides made vegetarian! Fern is offering a bunch of vegan and vegetarian sides while Something Classic has a more traditional menu. Fern’s menu includes a vegan shepherd’s pie made using jackfruit. Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen does Thanksgiving sides each year, and does a great job of marking which sides are vegetarian. Yafo has several meat-free side options as well.

Q: Will you be offering cocktail kits this holiday season?
Kristen: We will be offering them at some point, but whether it’s before Christmas is not yet clear. Our syrups are all currently going through the process of testing at NC State. As soon as they’re ready to go, we can start bottling and getting kits to you! Stay tuned.
