Our Take: Flexible summer white that is food-friendly and a nice departure from Sauvignon Blanc
Fun Facts: Rias Baixas is a cool climate region in northwestern Spain. It lies along the Spanish Atlantic coastline, just north of Oporto, Portugal. Cool, wet winters give the grapes sufficient water to maintain their growth during the hot, dry summers. The Salnes Valley is surrounded by water on three sides, which makes it the coolest of the three grape-growing regions in Rias Baixas. The wines are typically dry with high acidity and refreshing salinity.
