The third location of Yafo Kitchen is on track for a December 17 opening.

The restaurant will be in Kenilworth Commons, the plaza with Harris Teeter at East Boulevard and Kenilworth Avenue. Executive chef Shai Fargian will oversee the restaurant as Yafo’s executive chef, though Carmen Vasquez will be the head chef at the Dilworth location. The restaurant is owned by Frank Scibelli, the name behind Mama Ricotta’s, Paco’s Tacos and Tequila, and Midwood Smokehouse.

The first location of Yafo opened in SouthPark in 2016, and quickly grew a loyal group of diners seeking fast and healthy options. We’ve also had two chefs name the Marrakesh lamb bowl as one of their five favorite dishes in town: Nicolas Daniels and Vince Giancarlo.
