Where to treat dad this Father’s Day

A dozen restaurants, a cigar bar, and a local caterer are offering enough to satisfy any dad’s appetite

Father’s Day weekend is near. If you haven’t made plans to celebrate the men in your life, these Charlotte businesses have you covered. Dads can enjoy lobster rolls, miso fried chicken sandwiches, prime rib, pineapple upside-down cake, fine cigars, and more. 

Dine In

Aqua e Vino, Providence Park 
Father’s Day menu items include crispy ravioli, Spanish octopus, watermelon salad, gnocchi, halibut, and more. 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Call 704-364-4445 for reservations. 

The Artisan’s Palate, NoDa

Father’s Day brunch includes biscuits and gravy, brioche French toast, shrimp and grits, old-fashioned flights, and more. Dads can also enjoy live music from Nathan Dowdy. Make a reservation online

Church and Union, Uptown 
The restaurant will offer 25% off all steaks for dad. Other options include brunch specials and steak features for dinner. Make a reservation online

Duke Mansion, West Midtown 
The Father’s Day cookout and concert include a buffet with burgers, hot dogs, barbecue pulled chicken, banana pudding, and more. The HC Oakes Band will also perform. Doors open at 4 p.m. Concert starts at 5 p.m. $75 per adult, includes two beverage tickets. $45 per child 12 and under. Purchase tickets online

Mizu, SouthPark
Brunch includes steak and eggs with wagyu filet steak, milkbread toast, miso fried chicken sandwich, yuzu prawns, and more. Dinner menu items include tuna tartare, firecracker shrimp, halibut, pork belly buns, and more. Make a reservation online

Napa on Providence, Eastover / Napa at Kingsley, Ft. Mill

Oak Steakhouse, SouthPark 
The prix-fixe menu includes prime rib (carved tableside), grilled asparagus, pineapple upside-down cake, and more. $120. Make a reservation online

Reid’s Fine Foods, SouthPark
Father’s Day brunch will be served buffet-style, including a prime rib carving station and more. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Adults $49.99. Children $15.99. Reserve a table online

Menu items include NY strip, bone-in ribeye, lobster rolls, Alaskan king crab legs, whipped praline sweet potato, sugar snap peas, peanut butter pie, chocolate cake, and more. Caviar service will also be available. 12-9 p.m. Make a reservation online

SupperClub SouthEnd, South End
Executive chef Blake Nolen will smoke meats and cook barbecue for guests from 12-5 p.m. Bourbon or beer will also be available for purchase to drink while playing games like pool and duckpin. Make a reservation online
