These Charlotte restaurants will cook a Thanksgiving feast for you

Thanksgiving isn’t about stressing all day in the kitchen — or, at least, it shouldn’t be. The holiday is much better spent enjoying some rejuvenating time with loved ones over dinner, no matter who cooked it. If you want to focus more on the festivities instead of the fuss, here are some local businesses serving traditional Thanksgiving dishes to go. If you’re a last-minute kind of person, you only need two days’ notice to order a slew of sides for pickup — just take care of the turkey. Earl’s is serving proteins, sides, breads, salads, and desserts.
Midwood Smokehouse

It’s no surprise to see smoked turkeys on this menu, but you can also order ham and smoked brisket. Sides include traditional Midwood Smokehouse options like mac and cheese and collards, as well as gravy, mashed potatoes, and a cranberry-apple sauce.

Food writer-turned-baker Keia Mastrianni bakes 9-inch pies from local ingredients. Flavors include brown sugar buttermilk, a butterscotch pumpkin pie with a rye crust, and a classic apple.

The latest restaurant from Jim Noble, a barbecue spot in West Charlotte, is taking orders for smoked turkey breast and a menu of sides that includes green beans, collards, and mac and cheese.
Reid’s Fine Foods

Reid’s has your entire meal covered — cooked turkeys in a variety of sizes, hams, beef tenderloin, and all of the traditional sides in four- to six-person serving sizes. They even have cornbread and classic stuffing options, as well as hors d’oeuvres like classic deviled eggs or shrimp platters.
