    Where to order Rosh Hashanah takeout

    The first week of October brings Rosh Hashanah this year, with the celebration of the holiday beginning on Oct. 2. Looking to order your Rosh Hashanah fare instead of cooking at home? Here’s where to do so:


    Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen, LoSo

    A special Rosh Hashanah menu is available for pickup or delivery from Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen. Menu items include brisket, grouper, tzimmes, challah, and more. Preorder online by Sept. 29 for pickup or delivery Oct. 2.


    Joan’s Bakery & Deli, Midtown

    Select items in family-style sizes from Meshugganah, the Jewish deli inside of Joan’s, including a braised brisket, chopped liver, and matzo ball soup. Preorder online by Thursday, Sept. 26 for pick-up on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Behind on ordering? Grab some dishes a la carte.


    Yafo Kitchen, Dilworth

    Chef Shai Fargian is serving a menu of family-style dishes, including challah, matzo ball soup, brisket, and sides, for $140. Feeds 4-6. Pickup at the East Boulevard location only. Preorder online by Sept. 29 for pickup Oct. 2.
