Where to enjoy New Year’s Eve dinner in Charlotte

New Year’s Eve is right around the corner, and Charlotte is ready to celebrate. Whether you’re looking to toast with a multi-course dinner, dance into the new year, or enjoy something sweet and festive, there are plenty of local spots offering something special.


Dilworth Tasting Room, multiple locations 

Enjoy special holiday dishes alongside the regular menu. Make a reservation online


Ever Andalo, NoDa

Enjoy a five-course Italian dinner. Seatings from 5-10:30 p.m. $135+. Make a reservation online


Fahrenheit, Uptown 

The four-course New Year’s Eve dinner includes winter melon salad, seared shrimp, roasted sea bass, espresso martini cheesecake, and more. Seatings from 4-8 p.m. $125. Make a reservation online. Gallery Restaurant at The Ballantyne, Ballantyne  

New Year’s Eve celebrations include a four-course prix-fixe dinner followed by a hotel-guest-only celebration with a DJ, midnight sparkling toast, and more. 9:30 p.m.–12:30 a.m. $150. Reservations required at 704-248-4330.


Goldie’s, Colonial Village

Growlers Pourhouse, NoDa 

Enjoy a British-inspired buffet-style dinner on New Year’s Eve while watching London’s ball drop. Menu options include tea sandwiches, poached shrimp, fish and chips, glazed carrots, and more. 5-8 p.m. $69+. Growlers will open up to the public after 8 p.m. with a DJ. 9 p.m.-1 a.m. and the regular food menu. Make a reservation online


Haberdish, NoDa 

Ring in the new year with a Southern-inspired five-course dinner. Menu offerings include brown butter seared cornbread, raw oysters, braised beef cheek, spiced Carolina gold rice pudding, and more. 5-9:30 p.m. $115+. Make a reservation online


Leluia Hall, Dilworth 

The restaurant will offer special menu features on New Year’s Eve. 4:30-10:45 p.m. Make a reservation online


Mariposa, Uptown 

New Year’s Eve specials include braised rabbit, cured swordfish, and fried burrata. The regular menu will also be available. Make a reservation online


Merchant & Trade, Uptown 

The New Year’s Eve celebration includes a Champagne and caviar welcome, passed hors d’oeuvres, a buffet, a tomahawk ribeye carving station, sliders, cocktails, and more. $400+. Buy tickets online

Nuvole Rooftop TwentyTwo, Uptown

“City Lights & Champagne Nights” offers an upscale rooftop celebration featuring curated hors d’oeuvres, dessert stations, craft cocktails, premium spirits, and champagne. The $145 ticket also includes live entertainment, party favors, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. VIP package ($260) offers enhanced food and bar selections. Buy tickets online.


Reigning Doughnuts, NoDa

Enjoy Champagne donuts on New Year’s Eve. 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. 


Substrate, Optimist Park

A la carte NYE pop-up by 2025 UPPY Non-Restaurant Chef of the Year Michael Le of Hello Uncle. Dishes include caviar on rice chip, hamachi with lemon balm, grilled prawn with sticky rice, and more. 7 p.m. – sold out. Free champagne toast at midnight. Magnums and salmanazars available.


Supperland, Plaza Midwood 

The Bar at Supperland will host a six-course dinner, featuring seasonal ingredients and festive dishes. 8 p.m. $199+. The Bar at Supperland will open to the public after the dinner ends, offering the regular drink menu until 12:30 a.m. The regular dinner menu, including a few holiday features, will be served in the main dining room.
