Where to eat this upcoming Father’s Day

Restaurants are offering special menus, events, and gifts for dad


Many of us are beginning to dine out again, and businesses and restaurants around Charlotte are offering discounts and deals to celebrate this upcoming Father’s Day. This list offers everything from barbecue packages to a round of free mini golf. 

Amelie’s Bakery is coming out with three new Father’s Day macaron flavors. These flavors include “Cup O’ Joe,” cinnamon coffee cake, and maple bacon. You can purchase a 12-pack box for $33.95.  

Bulla Gastrobar will open at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 20 for a Father’s Day Brunch. Dads will receive a $20 gift certificate to use on their next visit, as well as chocolate clusters.

Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen has a dad-focused menu available via pickup or delivery, with items such as wagyu flank steak, pork chops, mac-and-cheese, and Caesar salad with instructions to finish the meal at home. Order online by Thursday.

The Fig Tree Restaurant will be featuring a “Grilling with Dad Mixed Wine Pack” as their themed wine offering this month. The case includes 12 different bottles of wine and is available for curbside pick up until the end of the month. This package is $199, and available for preorder. 

Napa on Providence will be hosting Father’s Day brunch and dinner specials. Brunch will include a three course meal for $30, while dinner will also include a three-course prix fixe menu for $50. The restaurant will also hold a bourbon and Scotch dinner Friday, June 18th at 7 p.m. This dinner includes a four course meal, alongside several bourbon and scotch selections. The dinner is $90 per person, and you will also receive a special cigar gift for dad.

Noble Smoke will be selling a Father’s Day Barbecue Package. This package features a complete barbecue spread including 1.5 pounds of brisket, 1.5 pounds of chopped pork, one quart of mac and cheese, one quart of green beans and one bottle each of Noble Smoke’s Lex and Smoke sauces. All of this can be ordered through their website for $150. 

Stroke is offering a “tee-time” this upcoming Father’s Day, which includes a day of mini golf, food, drinks, and a “dad pack.” In the dad pack are a Stroke hat, a $40 Stroke gift card, a free round of golf, and Stroke golf tees. This dad pack is $50. Purchase online on the Stroke website.

Table and Twine is offering various takeout options, ranging from local beers, desserts, and grilled favorites, as well as a large grilling package for $149.99. This package consists of four 6 oz. filets, a dozen agave-glazed jumbo shrimp, loaded baked potato salad, asparagus, and a cookies and cream cake. You can also purchase add-ons including pork sliders, smoked chicken wings, and more. Order online by Wednesday, June 16 for pick up on Friday, June 18.

Unpretentious Palate is selling a cocktail kit featuring recipes for the signature old-fashioneds of eight local bartenders for $89.99. This cocktail kit can be preordered and includes syrups and garnishes from Billy Sunday, The Cocktailery, The Crunkleton, Stroke, and more.

The Vintage is hosting a Father’s Day barbecue with giveaways, drink specials, and more. Sunday, June 20 from 1 to 9 p.m, RSVP at thevintageclt.com.
