Where to dine out on Thanksgiving 2020

These restaurants are offering family-style or prix fixe menus

With smaller gatherings this year, cooking an entire turkey might not be in your Thanksgiving plans. You may be cooking something else, like this menu Justin put together that suits one or two diners, or ordering dinner in. As restaurants continue to struggle, however, we’ve heard from a lot of you that you’d like to dine out this year and support those restaurants. If you’re dining out, here’s what local restaurants are serving on Thanksgiving. Special holiday hours are noted.

    Angeline’s
A portion of proceeds from this Uptown restaurant’s meal will go to No Kid Hungry. Appetizers include your choice of squash bisque or harvest salad, followed by a main course of apple cider-brined turkey with whipped potatoes, Brussels sprouts, focaccia stuffing, and haricots verts. Pumpkin tiramisu is the dessert option. $50 for adults, $25 for kids 12 and under. Seatings at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m.

    Bistro La Bon
As well as offering a Thanksgiving Day brunch at its Plaza Midwood location, Bistro La Bon will serve dinner at its Cotswold location. Select a starter, your choice of two sides among holiday classics such as sweet potato casserole and haricots verts, and a main course of roast turkey breast, glazed ham, or salmon with dill butter, followed by dessert. 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

    BLT Steak
This Uptown steakhouse is offering its prime cuts of beef and menu staples as well as a traditional roasted turkey dinner with stuffing, green beans, cranberry relish, gravy, and mashed potatoes. $40.

    Del Frisco’s
Select squash soup or salad to start your meal, then enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner with slow-roasted turkey breast and gravy, apple-sausage stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes, green beans,  roasted potatoes, and cranberry relish. Dessert options are pumpkin cheesecake and pecan pie a la mode. $49.

    The Gallery Restaurant
Enjoy a light amuse-bouche as you’re seated, followed by four courses, starting with a soup, followed by a salad then a selection among several entrées, including turkey, venison, and short rib. Dessert options include pumpkin pie and bourbon cheesecake. $95, children order a la carte.

    Harper’s SouthPark
Hand-carved turkey breast, prime rib, and honey-baked ham are the centerpieces for this meal, with your choice of three sides and a dessert. $33 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    Napa on Providence
Selections for a three-course meal include an appetizer of calamari, meatballs, salad, soup, or crab cakes, and a variety of entrées, including smoked turkey breast, short ribs, lobster mac and cheese, and grilled portobello mushroom. Sweet potato cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake are dessert options. $38.

    Oak Steakhouse
This SouthPark steakhouse is serving a prix fixe menu centered around turkey on Thanksgiving, starting with soup or salad and ending with pecan pie or apple crisp, with a turkey entrée in the middle served with pork sausage stuffing, roasted Brussels sprouts, sweet potato soufflé, cranberry sauce, and gravy.

    Red Rocks Café
Order a traditional turkey dinner plate, with roasted turkey breast, giblet gravy, cornbread stuffing, sweet potato casserole, and green beans, or a classic main from the restaurant’s menu. $28.

    Red Salt by David Burke
A three-course meal includes a truffle mousse, crab fritter, or squash soup started followed by a main course of roast turkey breast and turkey roulade with brioche stuffing, confit sweet potatoes, haricots vert, and citrus cranberry chow chow with your choice of pumpkin mousse tart or sticky toffee pudding for dessert. $65, 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

    Sophia’s Lounge
Start off dinner with a butternut squash bisque, followed by a turkey dinner with stuffing, gravy, potatoes, haricots verts, cranberries, and pumpkin pie for dessert. $50 for adults, $20 for children 12 and under.
