Mother’s Day is just a few weeks away, which means it’s time to start making plans. Whether you want to celebrate your mom—or a mother figure—at home or while dining-in, these Charlotte restaurants, shops, and small businesses have you covered. They’re offering crab cake sliders, grilled steak panini, blueberry crumb cake, and more.

Afternoon Tea at Ballantyne, Ballantyne
Mother-daughter afternoon tea includes seasonal treats, scones, and savory bites. 1-4 p.m. $70 per adult and $35 per child under 12. Reserve a spot online.
Angeline’s, Uptown

The Mother’s Day celebration includes both brunch and dinner.
