Wentworth + Fenn’s bakery camper has hit the streets
See what pastry chef Samantha Allen has to offer
Wentworth + Fenn, the baked goods company run by the former pastry chef of The Fig Tree, has finally launched its Shasta camper. Allen was in Plaza Midwood today outside of Moxie Mercantile on Commonwealth Avenue selling coffees, pastries, macarons, and tarts from the newly-refurbished Shasta she’s calling Selma.
Starting this Friday, Allen will be parking the Shasta in front of Moxie Mercantile on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. weather permitting. She’ll stay there until sold out.
Offerings will include scones (I’m currently eating the asiago and chive one, and will forever prefer savory scones now), macarons, tarts, breads, cookies, and brittles. Check out some photos of Allen’s selection below, and read more about the story behind the Shasta here. —Kristen Wile
