Visit restaurants, get free stuff

Two new programs are giving diners the chance to get free stuff for dining out. Both Rare Roots Hospitality (Dogwood, Dressler’s, Fin & Fino, and The Porter’s House) and Camp North End have announced passport programs, incentivizing guests to visit multiple concepts.
The Rare Roots Hospitality program requires a specific purchase at each of its restaurants, with the exception of Dressler’s in Birkdale Village. Guests can get a passport at any of the restaurants. At Dressler’s, getting a passport stamp requires ordering off the “one for here, one to go” menu, with a cocktail enjoyed at the bar and one to-go. Dogwood visitors can order any drink off the seasonal cocktail list, while The Porter’s House stamps are given after ordering a flight of mini cocktails paired with a dish. Uptown’s Fin & Fino will stamp your passport after you order a Call of the Clam, or barkeep’s choice, cocktail and trio of raw oysters. Once all of the requirements are fulfilled, the reward is a $50 Rare Roots gift card.
Camp North End’s passport program runs through February. Passports can be picked up at one of the participating businesses, which include several food and beverage concepts: Babe & Butcher, Black Moth Bars, Bleu Barn Bistro, Free Range Brewing, HEX Coffee Roasters, La Caseta, Plant Joy, Popbar, and Wentworth & Fenn. Visitors can get a stamp following a purchase at any of those vendors, as well as several non-food ones. With eight stamps, you can exchange your passport for Camp North End swag. Options include tumblers, a half-zip sweater, hats, a blanket, and a tote. To pick up a prize, you must email Camp North End to schedule.
