Sabor Latin Street Grill is opening on Camden Road in South End on Monday, Oct. 15. The restaurant is taking the place of Fidelli Kitchen, a fast-casual Italian restaurant that opened in the winter of 2016.

Sabor is a local favorite for its burritos, tacos, and bowls, and has grown to what will soon be a dozen locations since the original location on Hawthorne Lane opened in 2013. The ease of online ordering and pickup makes it a go-to takeout spot, while its daily specials draw folks in for their favorite deals. An Uptown location is expected to open by the end of the year.

The restaurant’s soft opening at 1616 Camden Road will take place later this week, but here at Unpretentious Palate, we prefer to give restaurants time to get things running smoothly before visiting. There’s also a weekday happy hour at all locations from 3 to 5 p.m. with $1 taco autenticos.

Monday: Three Amigos Burrito (choice of ground beef or shredded chicken) and a drink for $6; $2.50 Mexican beers
Tuesday: $1 tacos autenticos on corn tortilla (choice of ground beef, shredded chicken, black bean or veggie topped with cilantro and onion)
Wednesday: Kids eat free (12 and younger); Kids meals only with an accompanying adult purchase
Thursday: $7 arepa and empanada: a street food sampling of our favorites; $5 house mojitos
Friday: $5 amigos margaritas
Saturday: Craft beer specials
Sunday: $2 domestic beers
