Q: Where can I find pumpkin gnocchi or ravioli take-out in Charlotte?
Kristen: I’ve actually seen very little pumpkin on menus. Sam Diminich at Restaurant Contance is offering a pumpkin gnocchi dish with chestnuts, mushrooms from Urban Gourmet farms, sage, and brown butter. We also found butternut squash ravioli on several menus. Grab it for takeout from Pasta & Provisions, or enjoy it at Aria or Stagioni. If sweet potatoes aren’t too much of a stretch, Teal Turnip is offering a sweet potato and carrot gnocchi dish on its current menu.

Q: I don’t work in restaurants, is it weird for me to come to The UPPYs?
