Q&A: Kombucha, Persian restaurants

Q: I haven’t heard or read much about kombucha lately. Are locals still into it?
Tom: While the trendy buzz surrounding it has certainly waned over the past few years, there are still plenty of kombucha devotees in Charlotte. Lenny Boy Brewing still offers a wide variety of kombuchas to enjoy at their taproom and select retail outlets in the city. In addition, Bizzy Bee, known for its honey, recently started brewing its own honey-based kombuchas. You can find them at several local farmers markets.

Q: Any good Persian restaurants in the area?
Tom: Sadly, while there are many outstanding Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Halal spots around the Queen City, I cannot find a purely Iranian/Iraqi restaurant in the area. I hope I am mistaken. If anyone can recommend on, please comment below.
