Q&A: Fish and chips, and are patios warm enough?

Q: What are some of your favorite places for fish and chips in town?
Kristen: Several of our contributors put fish and chips on our list of favorite fried fishes in town. Those included Big Ben Pub, Sid Ed’s, and Hello, Sailor. I also really enjoy the fish and chips at Workman’s Friend, which comes with a bowl of peas, and the fish and chips from N.C. Red.
Q: Are there any patios that are warm enough to eat outside on right now?
Kristen: It depends on how cold you’re willing to get! The warmest patios have four vinyl sides, meaning they’re not truly outside, but even those aren’t too warm during these frigid nights. You could bundle up and dine under heated, covered patios at The Fig Tree or The Goodyear House, and The Crunkleton is also adding a covered, heated patio over the next few weeks.
