Sabor Latin Street Grill will grow to South Carolina with its first franchised locations. Raydal Hospitality, the name of the restaurant group behind the dozen Sabor locations, has entered an agreement with Bold and Fresh Hospitality LLC to open several South Carolina stores.
“We are committed to growing family-friendly, budget-friendly, and authentic food experiences across the Carolinas and beyond,” said Sabor founder and Raydal Hospitality CEO Dalton Espaillat in a press release announcing the deal. “The Sabor menu is highly customizable with bold flavors and the freshest ingredients.”
Bold and Fresh Hospitality plans to open the first location in Columbia, South Carolina this summer. They hope to open 10 locations in three years, including in cities such as Greenville, Spartanburg, and Clemson.
Sabor is popular for its fast-casual, pan-Latin cuisine, which draws from El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico, and Colombia. The ability to eat healthy and fast when you want to is a big draw, though less-healthy options like the carne asada fries are equally enjoyable. The most recent Charlotte locations opened are in Uptown and South End. —Kristen Wile
