Photo recap: The Story of Mi Cariño preview dinner

Sold out event treated guests to an exclusive took at South End’s newest restaurant

by TM Petaccia

The degree of excitement and anticipation for one of South End’s most anticipated restaurant concepts, The Story of Mi Cariño, was evidenced by the completely sold out attendance of last night’s Unpretentious Palate preview dinner. Combining elevated Mexican street food, what B-Side Hospitality culinary director Vince Giancarlo referred to as “Alta California” — a mix of the local sourcing, multiculturalism, and a Mexican-American heritage — with a comprehensive agave bar, diners feasted on multiple courses from chef Hector González-Mora and crew, along with cocktails developed by B-Side beverage director Henry Schmulling.

Here’s a quick look at the food and festivities.
