    New Year’s Eve celebrations at Charlotte restaurants

    Here’s what’s happening around town this year

    Charlotte restaurants have plenty of options for you to choose from while you’re deciding where to celebrate the new year. Whether you’re in the mood for a seated dinner, tasting menus, or Champagne toasts, you can find something at one of these local restaurants.


    The Artisan’s Palate, NoDa

    The Breakfast at Tiffany’s themed celebration includes a breakfast spread, a champagne toast, and a DJ. $49. Purchase tickets online.


    The Bottle Tree, Belmont

    The New Year’s Eve dinner includes a four-course tasting dinner. Menu items include she-crab soup, winter woods salad, short rib with chestnut mushroom risotto, caramel corn creme brûlée, and more. $85 per person. Make a reservation online.


    Coquette, Uptown

    The Réveillon New Year’s Eve event includes a four course prix-fixe menu. Menu offerings include kobe beef, farm vegetables, crispy brussel sprouts, olive oil poached branzino, creme brûlée, and more. $135. The optional wine pairing with four wines is $60. Make a reservation online.


    Counter-, West Charlotte

    The Champagne tasting includes a 10-course dinner that will feature champagnes such as Bollinger, Krug, Dom Perignon, and more. Caviar and truffles will also be offered. $850 per person. Make a reservation online.


    Dilworth Tasting Room, SouthPark

    There will be a condensed dinner menu offered in addition to special menu items, such as fresh fettuccine with black trumpet and hedgehog mushroom cream with shaved parmesan and porcini, grilled split bone ribeye with roasted new potatoes, asparagus, and pinot reduction, and more. Reserve a table online.


    Dot Dot Dot, Montford

    The New Year’s Eve party is black tie and roaring ‘20s themed. Early seating includes a Champagne toast, a four-course dinner, four classic cocktail pairings, and an after-dinner beverage. Crab croquette, shaved brussels salad, white chocolate tart, and more are on the menu. 5 p.m. $179+ per person. Reserve a spot online. The New Year’s Eve Cocktails and Dancing celebration includes a champagne toast, three classic roaring ‘20s cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres, live music, and more. 9:30 p.m. $200 per person.     Ever Andalo, NoDa

    There will be an Italian five-course dinner, which includes two appetizer courses, a pasta course, entree options, dessert, and more. $154 per person. Make a reservation online.


    The Garrison, Pineville

    Chef Justin Shaw will offer a four-course, pre-fixe menu, which includes crab hushpuppies, pan-seared scallops, blackened salmon, ricotta cheesecake, and more. $55+ per person. 5-9 p.m. Make reservations online or call 704-889-4277.


    Goldie’s, Colonial Village

    There will be late night bites, holiday cocktails, a midnight champagne toast and live bands. $75. 7 p.m.-2 a.m. Make a reservation online.


    Growlers Pourhouse, NoDa

    The regular menu will be offered, which includes short rib potato skins, pesto brie fries, pork belly tacos, purple slaw, a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, and more. Growlers is open 11:30 a.m.-2 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.


    Haberdish, NoDa

    The fancy fried chicken dinner includes fried chicken, Champagne, caviar, cocktails, and more. Make a reservation online.


    Hello, Sailor, Cornelius

    The New Year’s Day brunch buffet includes sausage and cheddar quince, French toast, jerk spiced catfish, braised collards, milk bread pudding, red velvet cupcakes, and more. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. $34.99+ for adults and $12.99+ for children 12 and under. Make a reservation online.


    Mimosa Grill, Uptown

    Menu options include garlic and herb focaccia, beet salad, smokey mussels, seared scallops, wagyu skirt steak, peas and greens, black garlic roasted sweet potatoes, chocolate chestnut cake, brown butter tea cake and poached pears, and more. 5-9 p.m. Reserve online.


    Reigning Doughnuts, NoDa

    The seasonal flavor on New Year’s Eve is peppermint mocha. The shop will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and from 5-9 p.m.


    Restaurant Constance, Wesley Heights

    The five-course pre-fixe dinner includes barbecue bacon with hummus, smoked chicken lettuce wraps, pork belly dumplings, jalapeño cornbread, beef short ribs, grilled lobster, sticky toffee pudding, chocolate miso tart, and more. 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. seatings. Reserve online.


    Santé, Matthews

    Menu options include lobster bisque, baby arugula salad, broiled Chilean sea bass, pecan crusted roasted lamb chops, lemon custard raspberry napoleon, and more. $85 per person. Call 704-845-1899 to reserve a seat.


    Supperland, Plaza Midwood

    There will be a six-course tasting dinner at the Bar at Supperland along with the option to add curated wine pairings or a la carte drinks. 8 p.m. The bar will open for normal service after dinner at 11 p.m. $199+ per person. Make a reservation online.


    Sweet Lew’s BBQ, Belmont

    The New Year’s package includes smoked pork butt, hoppin’ john black eyed peas, meaty collard greens, and cornbread. Packages feed 12-16. $140. Available Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Order online.
