    Marriott hires new food and bev director

    The Marriott City Center hotel has hired a new Director of Eat & Drink, a position that oversees Stoke, CoCo and the Director, and the bar programs. The hire is Todd Brinkman, who has a resume that includes a position as lead sommelier at Ritz-Carlton Half-Moon Bay and stint as Director of Restaurants at a JW Marriott in Tucscon. He holds an MBA as well as his sommelier certification.

    Brinkman replaces Sean Potter, who is launching his own hospitality consulting firm. —Kristen Wile
