Fin & Fino names new executive chef
The Uptown seafood spot is part of Rare Roots Hospitality Group

Fin & Fino has a new executive chef. Dominic Cerasaro has taken over the position previously held by Ryan Daugherty. Fin & Fino, part of Rare Roots Hospitality Group, is a seafood-focused restaurant in Uptown with Rare Roots’ signature high level of service and consistency, as well as a beloved bar program and staff.
Cerasaro has been with the restaurant group for more than three years, and has worked at Dogwood and The Porter’s House in addition to Fin & Fino, where he was on the opening staff. He graduated from SUNY Delhi with a degree in culinary arts in 2018.
“Our search for a new executive chef at Fin & Fino took our management and ownership teams through hours of conversation and interviews with a number of qualified candidates, but during the process we realized that we already had the right person on the team,” the restaurant’s general manager Tim Buchanan said in a release announcing Cerasaro’s promotion.
