Farmers market to reopen in Cotswold

The market did not operate during the pandemic

After being closed in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cotswold Farmers Market will reopen for the season on Saturday, June 12 with new management. The market will remain in its previous location at 309 S. Sharon Amity Road.

Vendors will be set up from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays through late fall. Under the new management of Farmers Market Management Services, Cotswold Farmers Market will bring in around 20 vendors each weekend.

“We’re very excited to be bringing the farmers market back to the Cotswold community,” Samantha DeRosa, FMMS Market Manager, says. “Cotswold Farmers Market has always had an intensely loyal following, and we know the market was missed greatly by the neighborhood in 2020. We’re thrilled to give this enthusiastic area access to local produce, proteins, and artisanal foods this summer and fall.”

FMMS, a non-profit organization that seeks to bring local farm products and awareness of them to more customers, also manages the farmers’ markets for South End and Camp North End. Confirmed vendors at the Cotswold market include:

    • Watsonia Farms, Monetta, SC (Seasonal produce)
    • Edgerton Farm, Rutherford County (Beef and pork)
    • Rocky River Farms, Monroe (Beef, pork, honey, and eggs)
    • Mano Bella Artisan Foods, Charlotte (Fresh pastas and Italian craft foods)

Apply to be a vendor here.
