CRVA is giving away $250 restaurant gift cards
Share the occasion you had to cancel because of Covid-19
As a way to support local restaurants, the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority is giving away gift cards to local restaurants. Four winners will each receive $250 to the restaurant of their choice. To enter, submit the story of a special event or celebration you had to cancel or postpone during the Phase 1 closures on the CRVA site.
Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges, and each entry will be scored based on the story behind it, as well as how well the story indicates a connection to Charlotte, the local restaurant scene, and commitment to safety. The last day to apply is Sept. 30.
The contest is part of the Your Table Is Ready campaign, meant to support local restaurants as they struggle to remain in business during the pandemic. The Thanks For Waiting contest encourages diners to celebrate the occasions they had to postpone now that they can do so safely during Phase 2.5.
“Helping you celebrate your special moments is our way of saying #ThanksForWaitingCLT,” the contest entry says.
