Charlotte Shout is going on now
Here’s what’s happening in the Uptown event’s culinary program
Charlotte’s long-lost Shout festival is back this year to celebrate the city’s 250th birthday. The Uptown festival celebrates three parts of the city’s culture: the arts, food, and innovation. The food piece kicked off Monday night with a dinner that examined how restaurants price their food and what their margins look like. Much of the culinary presence of the festival takes place at 7th Street Public Market, as Charlotte Center City Partners is organizing the event. Here’s what’s happening this week and weekend. —Kristen Wile
