BLT Steak celebrates tenth anniversary
Visiting chef and BLT founder, Laurent Tourondel, will prepare a five-course meal

BLT Steak at the Ritz Carlton in Uptown is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a five-course dinner prepared by award winning chef, restaurateur, and BLT founder, Laurent Tourondel, Wednesday, October 16.
The five-course meal will include a yellowfin tuna crudo with soy-ginger dressing, wagyu beef carpaccio with smoked foie gras and truffle aioli, grilled strip steak with local greens, pommes dauphine, trumpet royal, and red wine bacon sauce. The final course will be a crepe souffle with passion fruit sauce. The dinner includes pairings with select wines from the restaurant’s cellar ranging from champagne to Châteauneuf du Pape.
Tourondel is a classically-trained French chef who started his career as the chef to the Admiral of the French navy and has since cooked in some of the best-known restaurants across Europe and America. After returning to the states, Tourondel established The Bistro Laurent Tourondel restaurant group and opened steakhouses and fine-dining restaurants across the world and is an accomplished cookbook author.
