Bartender’s home recipe: Tequila punch
This recipe can scale for any size party

A tequila punch cocktail with sage. Kristen Wile/UP
When you’re having a party, one of the easiest ways to keep the drinks flowing is batching cocktails. With this tequila punch from Fin & Fino’s Brittany Kellum, you can adjust the base to the size of your gathering, then top each glass off with bubbles as the drinks are served.
Tequila Punch
by Brittany Kellum
Ingredients
1 ounce blanco tequila
1 ounce Cocchi Americano
Juices of 1/4 lemon and 1/4 lime
Fresh sage
Sparkling wine
Directions
1. Shake together tequila, Cocchi, lime and lemon juices, and sage with ice.
2. Strain into a coupe glass.
3. Top with sparkling wine, then garnish with a sage leaf.

To make a batch, are all the ratios the same (including the lemon and lime)? And I’m assuming it is OK to stir it together in a bowl or pitcher instead of shaking? Any batching tips are appreciated!
Yes … all ratios are the same, however depending on your taste, we recommend starting with a less than equal proportion of the citrus and add more if you feel it needs it. Easier to add than subtract. Let us know how it goes!
