One of our favorite restaurants closed after Saturday service
Aix en Provence and Cochon D’Or unexpectedly closed their doors after service on Saturday night. The news was first reported by Charlotte magazine; the restaurants notified regular customers that they were closing in a newsletter.
Bryan St. Clair, who owned both restaurants with Patrick Garrivier, says their upcoming concept at Optimist Hall, Aix French Market, is still currently in play. The closures of both Aix in Myers Park and Cochon D’Or in Waxhaw are permanent. The news comes suddenly; Aix had a steady business of regular customers.
