The future of South End restaurant The Packhouse and coffeeshop Joe and Nosh has been up in the air for a while. Owner Deedee Mills confirms she has sold the two spaces and is excited for the new concept replacing her former businesses. The announcement of who purchased the spaces and what the new concept is will be announced at a later date.

Earlier this year, the Charlotte Business Journal reported there were hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax liens on the restaurant. Mills still owns and operates Mayobird and The Summit Room and has no plans of selling the two. —Justin Burke-Samson
