Join us during Savor Charlotte for a series of events you won’t want to miss! Each event will give you the knowledge to better appreciate Charlotte’s culinary scene — and a hospitality experience you won’t forget.


Not Just Tacos Brunch: Exploring Hispanic Cuisines with chef Andres Kaifer

Sunday, March 23 | 1 to 3 p.m. | Customshop

Experience the delicious diversity of Hispanic cooking during a one-of-a-kind brunch!

Customshop chef/owner Andres Kaifer will prepare four small plates highlighting different South American countries and explain what their cuisines are known for. Guests will also enjoy a welcome drink and two cocktails.

$90 general admission.

“An Empanada Lesson”

N.C. Gin Cocktail Class with Bob Peters

Saturday, March 22 | 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. | The Goodyear House

Our great state is in the middle of a gin boom! Sample three different North Carolina gins and three delicious cocktails, which you’ll learn how to make at home. This class will be led by longtime renowned Charlotte mixologist Bob Peters on the gorgeous Goodyear House patio (weather permitting) and attendees will be emailed recipes following the event.

Learn how to master a smoker from one of Charlotte’s most respected pitmasters!

Enjoy breakfast burritos while getting tips on preparing and brining various cuts of meat, including chicken, pork, brisket and ribs. You’ll then see the smokers in action, learn how to use them, and take home lunch of your choice of meat and sides.
