The selection of sparkling wines around town are plentiful and reasonable in price. Here are a few favorites for your consideration.

Foxcroft Wine Co., $16.99
A delicate pink color with white mousse. The nose has fresh strawberry notes and white flowers. Crisp, dry palate.
Bohigas Cava Rose, NV, Spain
Foxcroft Wine Co., $19.99
Salmon color with raspberry and crisp apple notes. Very dry and refreshing. Great with food, from charcuterie to roast pork.
Cattin Sauvage Brut Cremant d’Alsace, France
Arthur’s Wine Shop at Belk, $16.99
Notes of pear and lemon on the nose with a lively and elegant palate. Made from chardonnay and pinot blanc.
Mas Macia Cava, NV, Spain
Assorted Table Wine and Shop, $18.99
A creamy, fine bubble wine made from the typical Cava grapes: parelleda, macabeo and xarel-lo. The nose has a hint of citrus and almond, with yeast and stone fruit on the palate.
Arnaud Lambert Cremant de Loire, France
Petit Philippe, $26
A silky smooth sparkler made of 75 percent chenin blanc and 25 percent chardonnay. Aroma of apricot and peach with medium acidity and long finish. Light gold color and long-lasting mousse.
Argyle Vintage Blanc de Blancs 2019 Willamette Valley, Oregon
The Wine Vault, $28.99
Pear, honey, and toast bring this elegant chardonnay to life. Fresh acidity and a long finish make this wine a great substitute for Champagne.
