On the nose: Mineral, peach, a light hint of yeast
On the palate: Dry apple, white pepper, beautiful gold color, persistent bubbles

Our take: This is a good all-around sparkling wine that will be a crowd pleaser.
Fun fact: The grape blend is pinot blanc, chardonnay, and riesling. Alsace is in eastern France near the Swiss border, but has a temperate growing season as the grapes are planted in a bowl between two mountain ranges. The mountains protect the fruit from severe temperature swings. This non-vintage Cremant is made in the traditionnelle method and is cave-aged for 18 months before release.
