On the nose: This wine has some serious red fruit notes, with a hint of candied plum
On the palate: The red fruits are bright on the palate, with a medium body and some light tannins creating a long finish
On the plate: A true Italian sipper, we’d pair this with homemade pasta or go with a more traditional red meat pairing.

Our take: This Sangiovese from Romagna brings plenty of fruit notes without being a juicy wine. It drinks like a more expensive red, one we’d be happy to keep on hand as a house wine. We’ll also be seeking it out next time we head to The Bohemian for a cheese plate!
