20-Buck Bottle: A delicate rosé from southwest France

This bottle will be drank quickly once opened — buy more than one

Agenais 2020 Rosé from Chistophe Avi, Buzet, France

A blend of 80% cabernet sauvignon and 20% cabernet franc

    Available at: Foxcroft Wine Co.
    Price: $16.99

On The Nose: Delicate cherry, pink rose, lime, orange peel
On The Palate: Light body, crisp, refreshing, dry, strawberry
On The Plate: Pair with fruit salad, rare ahi tuna, pan seared chicken breast, spring minestrone

Our Take: This wine is so refreshing that a bottle is gone in no time. Get two bottles.

Fun Fact: Mary Taylor is a name to remember. She has an expanding portfolio from European wine regions that are on the edges of some of the great producing areas. Young, well educated winemakers are moving into lesser known areas due to the affordability of quality land. These winemakers are making biodynamic, organic, well balanced wines at a third of the price of many competitors. Mary is determined to find these producers and offer them to consumers at reasonable prices.
