Now that spring is in full swing, it’s officially food truck season. While Charlotte has plenty of brick-and-mortar restaurants, there’s something about a restaurant on wheels. Many Charlotte chefs have taken their menus mobile and here’s where you can find local food trucks serving cajun shrimp spuds, birria tacos, seafood mac, and more.

22 Street Kitchen 
The menu is described as California-style creole fusion. The truck can be found in Huntersville, Kannapolis, Matthews, Charlotte, Davidson, Concord ,and other surrounding cities. Check online for the schedule.

Ace of Spuds
The potato-forward menu serves up loaded spuds throughout Charlotte. The truck is often in downtown Mooresville for dinner on Saturdays and several different locations for lunch during the week. Check online for the most recent schedule.

Bae’s Burgers

The Garbage Truck 
The truck serves trash plates, a Rochester, New York specialty. There’s an option to build your own plate or order a signature item. Wraps and burgers are also offered. The truck is often in Southend at 1328 S Tryon Street. Check online for an updated schedule.
