Where to get Easter take-out in Charlotte
Restaurants are delivering dinner curb-side this year
With COVID-19 still taking its toll on everyday life, people are having to rethink how they do Easter this year. Staying at home doesn’t mean we have to miss out on the delicious festive food we’re all used to eating. Here are our picks for Easter brunch and dinner take-out.
The Fig Tree Restaurant is doing curbside pickup from noon to 4 p.m. on Easter Sunday. Their meal is priced at $210, feeds four, and includes braised lamb shanks and sweet potato-carrot casserole, served with a beet, arugula, pistachio and feta salad. For dessert, you have two options: lemon meringue pie or salted caramel and dark chocolate tart. All first responders and hospital workers will receive 10% off their order.
The Easter family meal at Copain feeds four and is priced at $90. Smoked pork loin is the star of the meal, and is served with grilled asparagus and spring vegetables with feta and citrus vinaigrette; Carolina gold rice and peas; roasted carrots with lemon yogurt, and pomegranate molasses; and a salad with fresh herbs, local strawberries, and poppy seed vinaigrette. Each meal also comes with a signature Copain baguette. Orders can be picked up at Rooster’s SouthPark on Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m.

Hot on the heels of their Passover meals, Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen is also offering a variety of Easter dinners for pick-up and delivery. Pickup and delivery is scheduled from 12 to 5 p.m. on Friday.Deliveries will include a $25 fee that goes to the driver and service company.
Sea Level is offering an Easter dinner menu at $19 a person that includes a protein, three sides, an additional optional side, and a choice of dessert for $3. You can order online for curbside pickup at The Waterman Fish Bar on South Boulevard on Saturday or Sunday.
Chef Chris Boyleston of Something Classic Catering is doing an Easter dinner that serves 4 to6 people for $165 with free delivery to Charlotte, Ballantyne, and Belmont. A $10 delivery fee will be applied to other delivery locations. You can also choose to donate a meal to a hospital worker when you place your order.
If Easter brunch is in your future, Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit is doing delivery of their biscuits, pimento cheese, and other favorites on their website. You can also download their app and order your brunch favorites for pickup.
Looking to go big with this year’s Easter Dinner? Eddie V’s has a four-course meal that serves 4-6 for $185, or the same option for 2 for $110. Enjoy classic steakhouse fare like shrimp cocktail, classic caesar salad, and an herb-roasted beef tenderloin, finished off with bananas foster butter cake. You can also order signature cuts like filet mignon for grilling at home. Call now to make your reservations for pickup or delivery starting on Friday, April 10.
Bonterra is offering day-of curbside pickup for its Easter menu. Order now until Friday, April 10 online or over the phone. Mains, sides, and salads serve four in addition to a wide variety of starter and dessert options. Pickup is Easter Sunday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
With two dinner options to choose from, Napa on Providence is also doing an Easter day curbside pickup from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The glazed ham dinner is priced at $26, while the prime rib option is $36. Each can be ordered for up to 8 people. All orders must be placed over the phone by Friday, April 10.
Bistro La Bon’s locations in Plaza Midwood and Cotswold are offering curbside pickup for two Easter feast options. Choose between a honey glazed ham or a New Zealand rack of lamb, each with several sides, respectively priced at $26 and $35 with a minimum of two guests. Orders must be placed over the phone by Friday, April 10 for pickup on Easter Sunday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Global Restaurant in Pineville has set up a drive thru pickup while the restaurant’s doors remain closed due to covid-19. Their three-course Easter dinner has a two person option for $70, a four person option for $130, and a six person option for $190. Orders can be placed over the phone through Friday, April 10, for pickup on Easter Sunday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Bottles of wine are being offered at retail price to add to any order. —Travis Mullis
