Where to find food trucks around Charlotte
Sample some of the city’s mobile kitchens at these regular events
Spring has arrived and warmer weather means food truck season is here in Charlotte. You can find some of your favorite local restaurants on wheels at outdoor events and Food Truck Fridays across the city. These local food trucks have everything from handmade chicken sandwiches and burgers to donuts and cupcakes.
Airport Overlook
Food trucks are at the Airport Overlook Friday through Sunday, with both afternoon and evening times. Current food truck partners are Made from Scratch, Riley’s Red Hot, 22 Street Kitchen, and more. Check online for the monthly schedule.
Armored Cow Brewing Company
The weekly Food Truck Friday event is from 5-9 p.m on Fridays until Dec. 16 in University City. Past food trucks include Chimi Spot, Birria Way, Scratch Kitchen CLT, Woodmill Treats, and more. There’s also live music and local vendors each week. Check the weekly lineup online.
Ballantyne
Ballantyne offers a weekly food truck schedule. Food truck partners include Bun Appetit, Cupcake Delirium, Maki Taco, and more. Cousins Maine Lobster is present from 11 a.m.-2p.m. on the first Monday of each month at Hayes Building and bi-weekly on Wednesdays at Brixham Tent. View the lineup online.
Cabarrus Brewing Company
The Food Truck Friday weekly event takes place each Friday from 5-9 p.m. at Cabarrus Brewing Company in Concord. Past events have featured live music from Bradley Wik and the Charlatans. Mister Greek, Taco Love, and Wrap ’N’ Roll have previously been in attendance. Check online for the food truck lineup.
Resident Culture Brewing
Food Truck Friday is from 5-9 p.m. every Friday in Plaza Midwood. Ve-Go Food Truck, The Dumpling Lady, Baltimore Crab Cake Company, and more have previously participated. Check online for an updated list of food trucks.
Sycamore Brewing
Visitors can find a rotating list of food trucks at the brewery’s weekly Food Truck Friday in South End. Live music and food trucks are also present during Front Porch Sundays from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month at Atherton Mill.
