Where to celebrate Father’s Day

These Charlotte spots offer many options to say “thanks, dad”

Charlotte restaurants and shops have prepared menus to help you celebrate Father’s Day. You can enjoy house-smoked brisket, mushroom toast, miso eggplant, and more with dad this year.

Bar Marcel, SouthPark
There will be a special Father’s Day menu, which includes heirloom tomato salad, crab quiche, steak and eggs, seafood crepes, grilled salmon, mimosas, bloody marys and more. 11 a.m. -2:30 p.m. Make reservations online.

Bulla Gastrobar, SouthPark

The three-course brunch menu includes options such as, smoked salmon montaditos (small filled bread rolls), steak and eggs, blueberry and ricotta pancakes, and more. $30. Bottomless mimosas or sangria are also available. $20. All fathers will get a complimentary box of artisan chocolates and a $20 gift card to use toward his next visit. Make a reservation online.

Haymaker, Uptown

The restaurant will offer its regular menu, as well as a seasonal a la carte brunch menu. Items include PB&J pork belly, mushroom toast, smoked chicken wings, roasted sweet potatoes, mac & cheese, fried green tomato BLT, and more. Make reservations online.

Fahrenheit, Uptown
Brunch menu options include lobster grilled cheese, shrimp and grits, macadamia anglaise french toast, and more. Dinner menu options include crispy tempura shrimp, miso eggplant, collard greens, and more. The restaurant will be open for brunch from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and for dinner from 5-11 p.m. Call 980-237-6718 to make reservations or reserve a table online

Link & Pin, multiple locations

At the South End and Huntersville locations, the full brunch menu along with the addition of popular dinner items, such as steaks, lobster tail, General Tso’s cauliflower, and truffle lobster mac and cheese will be offered. An expanded brunch menu will be offered until 4 p.m. and it includes grilled halibut, chicken and waffles, candied jalapeno bacon, and more. The full regular dinner menu will start at 4 p.m.  The Arboretum location will serve the full dinner menu for the day along with a small menu of brunch favorites until 4 p.m. Make reservations online.

Renaissance Patisserie, Barclay Downs
The shop will serve cake pops, cakesicles cookies, cupcakes, and an assortment of cakes. They are also taking orders for customer Father’s Day cakes. Place an order online.

Steak 48, SouthPark
The restaurant will open early on Father’s Day and serve its full menu, which includes prime steakhouse meatballs, roasted beet salad, bone-in ribeye, bone-in veal chop, whipped praline sweet potato, sugar snap peas, and more. Hours are from 12-9:30 p.m. Reservations can be made online or by calling the restaurant at 980-580-4848.

Stroke, Plaza Midwood
On Sundays, $15 lunch specials are offered along with $2 mimosas. Regular menu items include feta dip, pimento cheese, deviled eggs, bagel bites, caprese flatbread, buffalo chicken sliders, and more.

Meal kit packages for the holiday include house-smoked brisket, grilled chicken, coal-roasted homemade baked beans, creamy celery seed coleslaw, loaded baked potato salad, and banana pudding. Serves up to 6 for $159.99 and up to 10 for $259.99. Place orders online. Pickup and delivery on 5/16 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
