Where to buy Fourth of July meals to go
Barbecue, burgers, clams, and more are ready for your table

Midwood Smokehouse’s favorites are all available to order as part of the restaurant’s Party Packs. Kristen Wile/UP.
If there’s a holiday that will still get its due even with Covid-19 spreading rapidly around the county, it’s Fourth of July. Gatherings tend to be outside, centered around a grill or smoker, allowing small groups to be socially distanced while celebrating. To stay safe, we recommend one masked person doling out portions instead of the entire party sharing utensils, and constant hand-washing, as well as the usual CDC recommendations of small groups and staying six feet apart. Restaurant kitchens are following more sanitation steps than ever, so if you’d rather outsource the cooking, we don’t blame you. Here’s where to go. —Kristen Wile
