What Charlotte restaurants are offering this Mother’s Day 

Where to wine, dine, and treat your mom this year


She’s the reason you exist, and given the year she’s likely had, this should add up to an extra special 2021 Mother’s Day celebration. To start the day off right, celebrate Charlotte-style with a special brunch reservation. Here’s what local restaurants are offering this year. 

Aqua e Vino will be hosting a Mother’s Day event from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. featuring Spanish tapas, paella, and authentic Italian cuisine. 

Bonterra is offering a three course brunch to treat your mom this Mother’s Day. Held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., brunch includes three courses for $39, with a shrimp cocktail, jumbo lump crab cake, sliced filet mignon toast, a three egg omelet and much more on the menu. 

Bulla Gastrobar will be opening at 10 a.m Sunday, May 9 for Mother’s Day brunch. They will feature an exclusive paella menu during dinner, and moms will also receive roses, a special box of chocolate clusters and a $20 Bulla gift card to treat herself again. 

Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen will serve brunch to-go with biscuits, quiche, parfait kits, salmon and more, available a la carte for pickup and delivery.

Copain is serving brunch to-go, with pastry basket, strawberry shortcake kits, tarts, quiches, cakes, and more.

Dogwood Southern Table wants to do the cooking for you this year, featuring a three-course meal from 11 a.m to 8 p.m. The menu includes sunburst smoked trout, shrimp and grits, seared sea scallops, apple bread pudding and more.  

Fin & Fino will be serving a three-course brunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 9. This includes an arugula salad, mahi mahi, confit duck leg, chocolate mousse, and more for $55 per person. 

Leah & Louise is also hosting a Mother’s Day brunch, and will offer a three-course meal along with a champagne toast. Brunch for two is $100, and the brunch will start at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 9.

Mama Ricotta’s will be hosting a Mother’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The menu will feature French toast, spinach and prosciutto quiche, and a giant cinnamon roll. The dinner menu will run all day, but pizza will not be sold until after lunch.

Napa on Providence will offer three-course brunch and dinner menus to pair with its extensive wine selection.

Rooster’s SouthPark is not only hosting a Mother’s Day brunch, but a Mother’s Day dinner as well. Brunch is held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and will include a Copain pastry basket. You will also receive an entrée and dessert for $45 per person. Rooster’s dinner menu will be held from 5 to 9 p.m, and includes a three-course meal for $55 per person. 

The Stanley‘s Mother’s Day brunch prix fixe menu includes a donut, starter, and entrée for $35 per person.

Wine Loft is hosting a Mother’s Day Champagne brunch Sunday, May 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This will feature a mimosa bar, six different types of sparkling wines by the glass, and a full menu.
